Code of Conduct

The event complies with Estonian law and, in addition, a few general rules of conduct, the purpose of which is to create a safe and successful event for all participants.

  1. Rules Acknowledgement
    1. The Attendee is aware that by directly violating these rules their visitor‘s bracelet or participant’s badge can be removed and the Attendee will be forced to leave the event premises.
    2. The Attendee agrees to these rules by wearing a visitor’s bracelet or participant’s badge. 
    3. Each Attendee will be issued a special wristband, serving as a crucial ticket pass that must be kept from being removed for two days. If the Attendee obtains a wristband on the first day but loses it the following day, the Attendee will have to buy a new ticket at the full price. Preserve wristbands to prevent incurring additional expenses.
    4. Absence of the bracelet or badge will result in removal from the event. Note that the option to report wristband issues is only available during the festival. After the first day of the event, organisers will not accept complaints about lost or damaged wristbands.
  2. Identity Check and Attendee age
    1. All event Attendees should carry some form of photo ID (national identity card, passport, photo-ID-driving licence) which the Organisers may ask to see for the ticket validation purposes or for access to 18+ zone. The organisers are not responsible for the Attendees. The organisers recommend that any visitor under the age of 18 is accompanied by parent or guardian. 
    2. By submitting information and/or purchasing a ticket to the event, the Attendee confirms that their age is above 18 or they have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  3. Behavior
    1. Attendees are required to be responsible and mindful of other Attendees for the entire duration of the event and to maintain a state of order and calm at the venue and in the area surrounding the venue.
    2. Inappropriate behaviour of any kind is strictly prohibited.
      All event Attendees should comply with the J-TSOON Anti-Harassment Policy. If you experience harassment or see something in the event area that you consider to be harassment, please reach out to any staff member or security personnel at the event, or contact us at  info@j-tsoon.ee
    3. Attendees are required to respect the venue property. It is prohibited to move or damage furniture, event decorations, appliances, and other venue goods.
  4. Substances
    1. Alcohol consumption at the event is only allowed in the designated 18+ zone. 
    2. Entering the premises under the influence of alcohol or any narcotic substances is strictly prohibited.
    3. Possession of alcohol is prohibited in the event area outside the designated 18+ zone.
    4. Causing any type of inconvenience for other event Attendees while under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited, and will result in removal from event premises.
    5. Smoking of any kind, including electronic cigarettes, is allowed only in designated zones outside the building. 
  5. Venue
    1. Pets are not allowed at the J-TSOON: BPF24 venue, with the exception of guide dogs or other service animals.
    2. Lost and found items will be stored in the Information Stand area, where you can bring found items and return lost ones after proving ownership.
    3. All Attendees are obliged to dispose of the waste properly, keep the event clean, and take their own trash to trash cans.
    4. Deposit bottles should be separated from other waste and put to specially marked waste containers.
  6. Apparel and weapons
    1. Weapons are prohibited at the venue.
    2. Bringing any object suitable for harming another person to the event, even as part of a costume, is prohibited. 
    3. You can bring mock-ups of the weapons to the event for cosplay purposes. Realistic-looking weapons (metal swords and knives, modern weapon replicas, etc.) may be the subject of security checks.
    4. Apparel or accessories with threatening, abusive, or insulting inscriptions, as well as signs, or controversial symbols are strictly prohibited. 
  7. Commercial activity
    1. Commercial activity at the event should be agreed with organisers in advance and take place only in areas designated by organisers. Check our webpage or write partners@j-tsoon.ee to present your establishment at the J-TSOON BPF24
    2. Conducting commercial activity without the permission of organisers can result in removal from the event area and a ban from J-TSOON events.
  8. Audiovisual materials
    1. The organisers and media, approved by organisers, have the right to make audiovisual recordings for the purpose of promotion and report coverage of the festival. Media contact: partners@j-tsoon.ee
    2. Copying of the event promotional materials for commercial and marketing purposes without the permission of the organisers is prohibited.
    3. Attendees are allowed to take photos and record videos of other individuals if given permission (if an Attendee is under the age of 13 – their parent or guardian can give the permission).
    4. Attendees have the right to refuse to be photographed or filmed by other visitors.
    5. EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) are applied and are in effect at the event.

Rules are valid as of October 2024, organisers reserve the right to change and update these rules.
