Activities and Program at J-TSOON!
For years, J-TSOON has worked to create a program that is appealing and interesting to all of our attendees. We offer visitors a wide variety of experiences, including lectures, workshops, panel discussions, quizzes, fan meetups, competitions, dance activities, and games. Our presentations cover diverse topics such as Asian culture, youth interests, geek culture, cosplay, K-pop, role-playing, video games, anime, art, design, fashion, crafts, and much more.
We strive to craft a unique program for every event, featuring industry professionals and guests who share their experiences and teach visitors something new. Just as importantly, we believe some of the best content comes from the community itself. If you have an idea for a workshop, lecture, or panel you’d like to hold, we’d love to hear from you! Program applications will open soon, so keep an eye on this page.
Lectures
Are you an expert on a specific topic, or do you have a unique experience you want to share? Then a lecture is the right choice for you! Lectures are a great way to reach a broad audience. You can keep things beginner-friendly and introduce newcomers to your passion, or go deep with advanced content for fellow enthusiasts and professionals. Slides, live demos, and Q&A sessions are all welcome.
Workshops
Do you enjoy teaching people to make things with their own hands? Do you like explaining, step by step, how something is created? Maybe you can teach awesome dance moves, show how to use a specific tool, or guide people through a craft project from start to finish. If so, a workshop is for you! Workshops are hands-on and interactive, and participants should leave with a new skill, or even something they made themselves.
Panels
Would you like to discuss a topic with your team or a group of friends in front of an audience? Or perhaps you want to host a cosplay panel? Then a panel is the right choice! Panels bring together several voices and perspectives. They work well for discussions, debates, behind-the-scenes stories, and conversations where the audience can join in with their own questions.
Meetups
Once again, J-TSOON will host official meetups where fans of a particular interest, series, or genre can come together to share their enthusiasm and connect with like-minded people. Meetups are a relaxed way to find your community, make new friends, and maybe plan a group cosplay for next year!
Quizzes
Our interactive quizzes, created by our team on the Kahoot! platform, cover a wide range of topics our audience loves. Test your knowledge, compete against other attendees, and win exciting prizes!
K-pop Activities
K-pop Random Dance is one of our most popular activities. Participants dance spontaneously to randomly selected K-pop songs, jumping in whenever they know the choreography. Due to popular demand, it will be held on both days of the event, so stay tuned for the program!
