Competition Categories<\/b><\/h1><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1.1 Available Nomination Categories<\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants will be judged and awarded within the following categories:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kids Group Category<br \/><\/span><b><i>Please note<\/i><\/b><i>: Starting from Burning Pumpkin Fest 2025, the Duet &amp; Trio category will no longer be available for the Kids age group.<\/i><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Junior Duet &amp; Trio Category<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Junior Group Category<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adult Duet &amp; Trio Category<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adult Group Category<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PRO Category<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Best Costume<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><b>Special Categories:<\/b><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>The NKC Qualifier<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> takes place once a year <\/span><b>only at J-TSOON<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>The Spooky Mood Prize<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is<\/span><b> exclusive to Burning Pumpkin Fest.<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These are separate from the main nomination categories and have their own unique judging criteria.<\/span><\/p><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1.2 How to Choose the Correct Category<\/span><\/h2><h3><b>1.2a Performance Type:<\/b><\/h3><h4><b>Duet &amp; Trio:<\/b><\/h4><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Number of Performers:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> No more than <\/span><b>2\u20133<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> performers.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Performance Duration:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Up to <\/span><b>2 minutes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>30 seconds<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><b>150<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> seconds).<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><b>Backup Dancers:\u00a0<\/b><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Allowed for Duets and Trios but not for Groups.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Time Limit:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Backup dancers can only perform on stage<\/span><b> for half the performance duration.<\/b><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Example:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> For a 2-minute performance, backup dancers must not exceed 1 minute on stage.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Judges will evaluate only the main performers in Duets and Trios, with no additional points awarded for backup dancers.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h4><b>Group:<\/b><\/h4><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Number of Performers: 4<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> + performers.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Performance Duration:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Up to <\/span><b>3 minutes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>30 seconds<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><b>210<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> seconds).\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Important Note:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The recommended number of performers on stage is 9. While participants are welcome to participate in a team with more members, please note that the festival cannot guarantee comfortable accommodation on stage during the performance.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the SOLO competition, please<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/j-tsoon.ee\/kpop\/kpopsolo\/\"><b> click here<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/a><\/p><h3><b>1.2b Age Categories<\/b><\/h3><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>KIDS:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Up to 14 years old.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>JUNIOR:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 15\u201317 years old.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>ADULT: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">18+ years old.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Organizers can change the age category if mistakes are found in the application.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The organizers have the full right during the selection process to choose an appropriate number of performers in all age categories to ensure fair competition in each category<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please note that each age category has different performance levels, and it is important to respect the performances that were selected.<\/span><\/span><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Duet &amp; Trio:<\/b><\/li><\/ul><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Duet: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The age category is determined by the age of the oldest participant at the time of the festival in the group.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Trio: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The age category is determined by the percentage ratio of participants\u2019 ages. If more than half of the participants fall into the ADULT category (over 18 years old) at the time of the festival, the trio should choose the ADULT category. The same principle applies to the JUNIOR categories.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><ul><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Group:<\/b><\/li><\/ul><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The age category is determined by the age group that represents the majority of participants.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If over half of the participants fall into the ADULT category (over 18 years old) at the time of the festival, the group should choose the 18+ category. The same principle applies to the KIDS and JUNIOR categories.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a 50-50 percentage ratio, the group must choose the higher age category.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><h3><b>1.2c PRO Category<\/b><\/h3><p><b>The PRO category<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is intended exclusively for<\/span><b> group dance performances in the JUNIOR and ADULT categories<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any team that placed 1st or 2nd in dance categories at the two most recent festivals, J-TSOON and Burning Pumpkin Fest, in the JUNIOR, ADULT age categories or PRO Category is <b>required<\/b> to register in the<b> PRO category.<br \/><\/b><\/span><b>Participant identification is based on first and last names<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">; therefore, changing the group\u2019s name does not exempt it from PRO classification.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><b><i>Example:<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> if a team placed 1st or 2nd at Burning Pumpkin Fest 2024,<\/span><\/i><b><i> they must register in the PRO category.<\/i><\/b><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any team may choose to register in the PRO category voluntarily, even if they did not place in the top two at the previous festivals.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If half or more of a team\u2019s members previously competed as part of teams that placed 1st or 2nd in dance categories at the last two festivals, the team is also required to register in the PRO category.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Please note: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Only placements in dance categories are considered when determining eligibility for the PRO category,\u00a0 awards for costumes or other categories are not taken into account.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The festival organizers reserve the right to reassign any team to the PRO category or remove a team from the PRO category if deemed appropriate.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Groups assigned to the PRO category are eligible to compete only within this category.<\/b><\/li><\/ul><h3><b>1.2d Best Costume<\/b><\/h3><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To be considered for the best costume nomination, all participants must provide reference pictures of the costumes they intend to replicate or are inspired by.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If no reference pictures are provided, the organizers reserve the right to exclude the group from this nomination.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants who do not intend to fully replicate original costumes may provide a description of their costume concept in the application form. This may include inspiration drawn from the idol, the style of the chosen song, or other relevant project details.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants who are creating a direct replication of a costume may also include details of their project and any additional information they wish to be forwarded to the judges.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h3><b>1.2e NKC Qualifiers<\/b><\/h3><p><b>Please note<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0that the NKC Qualifier takes place only at the J-TSOON Festival and not at the Burning Pumpkin Fest.<\/span><\/p><p><b>What is the NKC?<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The N\u00e4rCon Kpop Championship aims to showcase K-POP Cover Dancing at its best. It provides a stage for finalists to demonstrate their skills and passion for the Kpop music genre. A respectful environment is maintained and attempts at bribery will not be effective.<\/span><\/p><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.1 For Dance Competition<\/span><\/h2><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Choreography Execution: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assesses how accurately the performers replicate the original K-pop routine and how well they synchronize their movements as a team.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Technique:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Evaluates the quality of the dancers\u2019 movements, including precision, control, body isolation, and how well they match the music\u2019s rhythm and tempo.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Stage Presence and Energy:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Focuses on how effectively the performers engage with the audience through expression, energy, and dynamic movement, maintaining impact throughout the performance.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Overall Performance Impact:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Looks at the overall emotional and artistic effect of the performance, evaluating how well it captivates the audience and conveys the essence of the original routine.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the festival concludes, the K-POP team will send an email to all performers, providing them with the points they received for each evaluation criterion. Please note that the names of the judges will not be included in these files to maintain confidentiality.<\/span><\/p><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.2 For Best Costume<\/span><\/h2><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Costume Accuracy and Replication:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Assesses closely resemble, are inspired by, or replicate the chosen K-pop idol\u2019s outfit from the references provided<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Coordination and Group Harmony: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In group performances, costumes should complement each other to create a cohesive look, with consistent styling in color, silhouette, and theme.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Appropriateness and Comfort:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The costume should allow for easy movement and comfort while adhering to guidelines for appropriate undergarments.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Overall Impact and Presentation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Judge will evaluate the visual appeal of the performance, focusing on how the choreography, costumes, and stage presence create a captivating experience.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.3 NKC qualifiers<\/span><\/h2><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the NKC qualifiers, points for both the dance and the costume will be taken into consideration.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.4 Spooky Mood Prize\u00a0<\/span><\/h2><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The judges from both the Dance and Costume competitions will select the winning performance.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Judges will evaluate how well the song choice, performance, and costume design work together to create a unified spooky atmosphere.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h1><b>3. Performance and Participation Restrictions.<\/b><\/h1><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3.1 Performance Limitations<\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each participant can perform on stage twice (1+1 rule) following these three options:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>One Duet &amp; Trio<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> +<\/span><b> One Duet &amp; Trio<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><b>1+1<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Requirements:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Different lineups for each performance. <\/span><b>The Trio lineup<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> must change by at least 2 performers.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>One Duet &amp; Trio<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> +<\/span><b> One Group.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><b>1+1<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Group + Group<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><b>1+1<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><b>Requirements:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Participants not performing in the Duet &amp; Trio category can perform in up to two (2) groups, provided they use different group lineups (1+1)<\/span><\/p><p><b>Group Composition Change:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A group is considered validly changed only if at least 50% of its original members are replaced. Therefore, the number of performances may vary at each festival.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Original choreographies will not be accepted for the competition.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All performances must be based on existing choreographies that match the chosen song.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If parts of the original choreography are missing or not visible in official material, participants may create their own choreography for those sections. Any such additions must follow the style and spirit of the original routine.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Competitors should indicate in their submission if any choreography has been self-created due to missing material.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cover dances may be performed with a different number of members than in the original choreography. In this case, formations and spacing may be adjusted, but the original movements should be preserved as much as possible.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creative additions such as intros, endings, or short transitions are allowed, provided that at least 70% of the performance remains faithful to the original choreography. If more than 30% is self-created, the performance will be considered a remix and will not qualify for the cover dance competition.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants can showcase a dance by a Korean choreographer, and the music is not restricted to Korean songs. Additionally, participants can perform any KPOP idol(artist) songs that are not Korean, such as \u2018Titanic\u2019 by Jackson Wang or \u2018Honey\u2019 by LAY, etc.<\/span><\/li><li><b>The festival maintains a family-friendly environment.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Song selections must be suitable for a general audience.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants who applied for K-POP GROUP Cover Dance Competition <\/span><b>are allowed to apply<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the SOLO K-POP Cover Dance competition and K-POP in Public Online Competition.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Live vocals are prohibited, and all performances must adhere to the format specified in the application.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Backup dancers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are not counted as main performers and can participate in other dance categories.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please note that you can choose only one of the two main competitions &#8211; either KPOP or Cosplay. If you choose KPOP, you are still allowed to participate in the \u201cShort Video\u201d and \u201cPhoto cosplay\u201d competitions. Cosplay main competition participants are still allowed to participate in the \u201cKPOP in Public\u201d online competition. Kindly choose according to your priorities.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the number of participants in a category is insufficient to create a competitive field, the category may be canceled. Each category must have a minimum of 10 performances, if this requirement is not met, the organizers reserve the right to cancel the category.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Performance Day Scheduling:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Please note that while participants may indicate their preferred performance day, <\/span><b>we cannot guarantee the selected day with 100% certainty<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as the schedule is divided into <\/span><b>three 1.5-hour blocks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. We kindly ask all participants to be prepared to perform on <\/span><b>either of the two event days<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Leaving items behind is not permitted. <\/span><b>Please be respectful toward the K-POP team<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> preparing dressing rooms for participants on both days, and maintain cleanliness.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any items left scattered around the dressing rooms may be discarded after the first day of the festival concludes.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Changing clothes and leaving personal belongings are only permitted in designated dressing rooms<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for K-Pop participants. Leaving items in Cosplay dressing rooms or other unauthorized areas is prohibited.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Groups not performing on the second day must vacate the dressing room by the end of the first day<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to accommodate groups performing the next day. Dressing rooms are only available on the day of performance.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Photography is prohibited in the dressing rooms<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to respect the personal space of others. Photos, selfies, or full-length pictures must be taken outside the main dressing room area.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Hot food purchased at the festival is not allowed in the dressing rooms<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and must be consumed in designated food zone areas. Snacks, appetizers, bars, and sandwiches are permitted.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Hair spray must not be used in the dressing rooms<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. It should only be applied outside or in restrooms.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Access to the dressing rooms is strictly limited to participants competing in the festival, registered backup dancers, and registered assistants.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> No other individuals are permitted to enter the dressing rooms under any circumstances.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Respectful behavior toward the organizers, staff, judges, and other K-Pop and Cosplay participants is mandatory!<\/b><\/li><\/ul><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5.5 Backstage and Stage:<\/span><\/h2><ul><li><b>Participants must be backstage no later than five acts before their performance<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to inform organizers of their presence in advance. After this time, participants are not allowed to leave backstage for any reason other than performing on stage.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These rules must be taken seriously. If a participant does not show up backstage at the appointed time, does not notify the organizers, or does not respond to calls, they will be disqualified, and no ticket refunds will be provided.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B<\/span><b>ackup dancers who are not competing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the competition themselves can stay backstage while waiting for their turn to perform.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><b>All participants and backup dancers must keep backstage organized<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Please <\/span><b>do not bring food or drinks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (such as bubble tea) into the backstage area. The only exception is a bottle of water. Failing to wear a badge backstage may result in being banned from entering the dressing room or disqualified from the competition.<\/span><\/li><li><b>All participants and backup dancers must maintain order while waiting for their performance<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Standing near the stage stairs, sitting in the passage area, or blocking the view of the stage for K-POP Stage Coordinators and interfering with the K-POP host is prohibited.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Due to strict time constraints, <\/span><b>all teams must enter the stage immediately when their name is announced by the host<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Please do not wait for the host to leave the stage before entering.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><b>Once on stage, participants must assume their starting pose and remain still<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This signals the sound team that the performance is ready to begin, and the music will be played.<\/span><\/li><li><b>After the performance, participants must exit the stage promptly<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. A brief bow is allowed. However, please note that the host will re-enter the stage immediately after the performance ends. Therefore, all team members must leave the stage and return to the backstage area without delay.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Please avoid lingering in the backstage area after your performance.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Kindly clear the passage promptly to allow the next performers to prepare and enter the stage smoothly.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The K-POP organization team will provide clear instructions on where participants should stand while waiting for their performance.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Respectful behavior toward the organizers, staff, judges, and other K-Pop and Cosplay participants is mandatory!<\/b><\/li><\/ul><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5.6 Responsibility for Personal Belongings<\/span><\/h2><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The organizers are not responsible for any lost items. Participants are kindly asked to take good care of their valuables and not leave them unattended.<\/span><\/li><li><b>Participants are not allowed to leave belongings in the dressing rooms overnight. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All items must be taken after the first day of the festival concludes.<\/span><\/li><li><b>All items and clothing found during the preparation and cleaning of the dressing rooms after the first day of the festiva<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">l will be gathered and collected by the K-POP team.<\/span><\/li><li><b>The festival is not responsible for any items or clothing that may be missing from the dressing rooms.<\/b><\/li><\/ul><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5.7 Procedure After the Completion of the First and Second Days of the Festival<\/span><\/h2><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All belongings must be retrieved from the dressing rooms after the completion of the second day.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The premises must be vacated promptly, no later than 40 minutes after the conclusion of the event on both the first and second days.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h1><b>6. Disqualification and Non-Selection Criteria.<\/b><\/h1><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please note that the criteria listed below are examples and do not encompass all possible reasons for disqualification or non-selection. There are many rules in place, and participants are required to comply with all regulations of the J-TSOON and Burning Pumpkin festivals. Failure to adhere to any rule may result in disqualification or non-selection.<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Failure to adhere to all specified rules and guidelines of the J-TSOON\/BURNING PUMPKIN\u00a0 festivals and competitions.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants who do not meet the specified age requirements for Duet &amp; Trio, Group, Pro category, or NKC qualifiers will be disqualified. Age categories must be chosen according to guidelines. Organizers reserve the right to adjust the age group based on the oldest or majority age in a performance.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Duet &amp; Trio performances exceeding 2 minutes 30 seconds (150 seconds) or Group performances exceeding 3 minutes 30 seconds (210 seconds) will be disqualified.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Backup dancers performing beyond the allowed duration of half the performance time will be disqualified.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants will be disqualified if they submit a video that is not of their own full dance practice or if the video is of the artist\u2019s performance instead of their own<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Failure to submit music in the correct MP3 format (minimum 128 kbps, 44 kHz) will result in disqualification.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Incorrect file names for performance videos, music, or reference images will lead to disqualification.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Failure to provide required details about performers, backup dancers, or performance videos (including submission of unedited, one-take videos) may result in non-selection or disqualification.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Failure to submit reference pictures for costumes will result in exclusion from the Best Costume nomination.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants who fail to register on time or fail to check in backstage at least five acts before their performance may be disqualified.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Failure to comply with backstage conduct rules, including maintaining order, avoiding blocking passages, and wearing badges properly, may result in disqualification.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bringing food or drinks (other than water bottles) into backstage, or leaving trash such as empty bottles on the ground, is prohibited and may result in disqualification.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants must wear their badges backstage at all times. Badges are personal and non-transferable. Unauthorized access may result in disqualification.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants must use clean versions of songs if available. Organizers reserve the right to use only submitted music files without further communication.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Performance day preferences are not guaranteed. Participants must be prepared to perform on either event day. Unavailability on assigned days may lead to removal from the competition without rescheduling.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Song selections must be family-friendly and suitable for a general audience. Failure to comply may lead to disqualification.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants who do not wear appropriate undergarments
